Our innovative Type-4 hydrogen storage tanks represent the pinnacle of composite engineering, delivering industry-leading lightness and superior safety standards. These tanks are engineered for the future of clean energy, offering maximum efficiency and durability while making hydrogen energy more accessible across multiple industries.
High-pressure storage tanks are one of the most important components of energy storage technology and are at the heart of the green energy revolution. Our hydrogen storage tanks, designed based on scientific goals and using state-of-the-art engineering methods in their production, are opening the doors to a new era in the sector.
With the superior strength provided by composite materials, we are developing lightweight yet durable Type-4 hydrogen storage tanks. These tanks, which weigh 30% less compared to metal-lined (Type-3) tanks, also stand out with their excellent sealing properties. Each tank undergoes technological validations to increase safety and maximize reliability.
Our energy storage solutions are custom-made, high-performance and long-lasting; thus providing a strong infrastructure for a sustainable future.
With the completion of the TUBITAK 1512 program in 2022, the infrastructure work in the field of hydrogen storage technologies has been completed and design capabilities have been improved. As a result, 5-liter prototypes were produced at 350 bar and verification studies were carried out in a computer environment.
The follow-up study prepared for the TUBITAK 1507 program aims to produce tank systems with 22-25 liters and 350 bar working pressure and 2.25 safety coefficient based on the design data of the previous project. The 5-fold increase in tank production capacity is seen as a step towards the production of higher volume tanks suitable for mass production, which can be actively used in load carrying platforms (forklifts) in the market and which will be worked on in the future.
Developments will be made in line with the data obtained in the project.
Our Type-4 tanks utilize advanced carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) technology, wrapped around a seamless plastic liner. This construction method ensures maximum strength-to-weight ratio while providing excellent gas barrier properties and long-term durability.
Meets and exceeds international safety standards including UN R134, ECE R110, and ISO 19881 for hydrogen storage systems.
Each tank undergoes rigorous testing including burst tests, cyclic fatigue tests, and environmental conditioning to ensure reliability.
Advanced carbon fiber composite construction reduces weight by up to 65% compared to traditional metal tanks.
Engineered to withstand working pressures up to 700 BAR with exceptional safety margins.
15-year service life with minimal maintenance requirements and superior fatigue resistance.
